Our history
Horticulture has fascinated Brian Behm, B & G's founder, as long as he can remember. From the time he was a young boy he spent a lot of his time outdoors in Michigan. As he got older, his interest in orchids, trees and plants grew into an obsession: he knew he'd found his life's calling.

After receiving his an Associate Science degree in Management from Lake–Sumter State College in Leesburg, Florida, he knew he couldn't spend his time in an office. Wanting to get his hands dirty once again, he started B & G in 1998 with a small piece of equipment or two and a strong desire to make things grow.

Since its launch in 1998, B & G has progressed into creating beautiful landscapes and providing weekly lawn care maintenance. Brian's passion and knowledge of both Orchids in Florida and Christmas Trees in Michigan is shared with others through his collection within his greenhouse and nursery. Brian has a personal commitment from seed to maturity to make each landscape endeavor successful.
